Fleet Support Manager, Energy Saving Trust
James works in Energy Saving Trust’s fleet support team offering advice and support to fleets on how they can decarbonise their vehicle operations. He has worked in transport for over 20 years, including motor trade, local authority and then managing a significant multi-site fleet, including vans, PCV HGV grey fleet and pool cars.
James holds four Transport Management CPC’s and a Professional Certificate in Highways and Transport engineering. He has previous responsibility for parking, grey fleet, logistics, bus services and writing and implementing sustainable travel plans. James now works to support multiple fleets across England on decarbonisation, assisting organisations with fleets of up to several thousand vehicles to implement best practice and move to sustainable fuels and reduce costs, whilst improving air quality and reducing carbon emissions. James’s work covers all common vehicle categories, with a bias towards heavier vehicles.
